Introduction
wish the world peace, not about philanthropism, but about
the methodology of autarcesis.
In the realm of nature, preservation of the species is the sake of the
creatures, and otherwise, they seem cutting corners.
Then, what is peace?
A world without conflict?......too cheap. Sometimes conflict works for
improvement and brings beneficial changes. The world in total order would
rather end up in castration.
I see the world peace, in the world without irrational violence. As written
earlier, my definition of peace is for securement of my friends, my family
and myself. Violence should only occur within parties in charge; it must
not involve disinterest persons, and needless to say, no one should never
be sent to his/her doom by that.
My role here in my world, is to publish creatives with exercising various
elements, objectively doubting outrageousness around the world, not as
an idealist, not as a religionist or not even as an activist. The aim
of KIMURA activities is to stir up the world with applying my methodology
and pursuing my definition of the world of peace, always questioning the
world:
"What is peace?"

私は平和な世界をつくりたい。博愛主義等とは異なり、自分の身を守る手段としてである。自然界に棲む生き物の目的は第一に「種の保存」であり目的を果たすためには全力を尽くし達成させようとするが、それ以外のことは極力手を抜いているように思える。
「平和」とは何かを考える必要がある。
「争いのない世界」と考えるのはあまりにも軽薄であり、「争い」により向上心が生まれ状況を改善するケースがある為、一概にそうともいえないのである。むしろ全く争いの無い世界とは、ある種去勢された世界になる可能性を孕んでいる。
私の考える「平和な世界」とは「理不尽な暴力のない世界」である。冒頭でも記したように私が平和を望む理由は自身、家族、友人を守るためである。理不尽な暴力とは無関係な人々が第三者による争いに巻き込まれない世界。個人レベルでの当事者同士以外巻き込まれてはならない。そしていかなる理由があろうとも、一方的な暴力でその生涯を終わらせることのない世界を指す。
私の世界からみた役割として、中立な立場を保ちいかなる場合でも冷静に世界を取り巻く理不尽なものを疑い思想家にならず、宗教家にならず、活動家にもならずあらゆる面で物事を柔軟に捉え可能な限り使用できる要素を用い作品を発表してゆく。自身の手段を用い私の考える平和を追求し、社会に向け本当の平和な世界とは何かと一石を投じる事がKIMURAとしての活動の狙いである。

In Japan, it has been said that there is a rabbit living on the moon. It came from the shadow of the crater of the moon shaping like a rabbit pounding rice cake.
The moon visible from the earth is about only one planet. All living things on the earth see the same planet and are exposed to the same light from the same planet, and recognize this planet as the moon. The creatures on the earth equally shared the awareness of the moon. This means, the moon can be defined as the symbol of common acknowledgment of the world.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki are the only cities in the history that are actually suffered from nuclear weapons.
It has been no doubt that nuclear is the worst weapon of mass destruction that could even flash the earth itself. As a contamination country, Japan is responsible for getting the world to know about the horror of atomic bombs.
The victims of the bomb have been intensely committed to leave it for posterity. However, it has been over sixty years since the disaster, it is unclear how long it would last.
The rabbit who lives on the moon as the symbol of universal acknowledgment is the character with my message of the world peace.
ピカウサギ
古くから日本では月にウサギが棲むとされてきた。月のくぼみによりウサギが餅つきをしている姿に見えることから「月にウサギが棲む」と言い伝えられるようになった。
地球から見える月は一つであり、「月」という星はこの世に一つしか存在していない。地球で生活する生き物は皆同じ月をみて同じ月の光を浴び、それのことを「月」として認識している。となると今まで地球上に存在してきた生き物はこの一つの物を共通認識として共有していることになる。すなわち「月」は生物の共通意識のシンボルとして定義づけることが可能といえる。
日本の広島、長崎は歴史上唯一「核」による被害を受けた場所である。
現在、核兵器は最も卑劣な大量破壊兵器でありその気になれば我々の住む地球すらも破壊させることが出来る兵器である。当事者にしかわからない悲惨さがある為唯一の被爆国として日本は世界に向け、核兵器の悲惨さを伝えていかなければならない。
被爆者の方々はその体験を自ら語り部となり後世に伝えようと尽力されている。しかしながら戦後60年、被爆者の方々の高齢化も進みこの活動も消滅しうる状況に置かれている。
共通意識のシンボルとなる「月」。そしてそこに住むウサギを唯一の被爆国である日本から核兵器の悲惨さや世界平和を訴え、それに含まれるメッセージを全人類にむけキャラクターとして「平和」を考えるきっかけを作る為に生まれた。
Project HINOMARIZE
Japan is a safe and peaceful country. Japan has no army
for aggression or no nuclear weapons. If you scrutinize the fact of Japan's
peacefulness, you may be able to see something.
Something that Japan owns but rest of the world doesn't, and/or something
the rest of the world owns and Japan doesn't.
Japan doesn't have a huge territory, philosophy, religions, racial diversity,
armies, nuclear weapons, guns, pride......in short, Japan has nothing.
Japan has nothing that would cause blood in the rest of the world. Is
there anything that Japan should be proud of? Longevity? Healthy food?
Art? Women? Technologies? Zen?
When you think about the era of national seclusion, Japan had cherished
its own culture in its own way. But the surrender of World War, occupation,
liberation and spectacular economic growth. At the end of the war, Japanese
had to reset its identity, and from its void, there was an emergence of
economic growth in the effort to make a better life.
Is there any possibility that something that Japan doesn't own prevents
Japan from another war to occur? When it comes to bare bone essentials,
do we really need anything that Japan doesn't possess now? If there is
none, then we don't need anything more.
If something that keeps Japan safe can be well extracted and well presented
to the world, pointless conflict would waste. Examining the background
of the circumstance in Japan would help eliminate the cultural dilemma,
and with doing so, I would like to hold up the national flag of Japan,
HINOMARU, just as the trademark of something good of/about Japan.
I name it Project HINOMARIZE.
HINOMARIZE計画
日本という国は世界から見て平和で安全な国といえる。自ら戦争を起こさず、軍隊を持たず、核兵器を持たない。日本が一般的に平和と言われる理由はなぜか。この事柄を掘り下げてゆくと何か見えて来るのではないか。
日本にあって世界にない物。また世界にあって日本に無い物。
日本には資源が無く、国土、思想、宗教、人種、軍隊、核兵器、銃、プライド、、、、言ってしまえばきりがないがはっきりいってしまうと日本には何もない。各国で戦争、紛争の種火になるような物はほとんど無いのである。日本が世界に誇れる物と言えば、長寿、和食、芸術、女性、技術、禅、、、
日本の鎖国を考えると独自の文化を独自の手段で成熟させた背景がある。そして終戦、占領、解放、その後の高度成長。敗戦により日本という国の独自に進化させてきたｱｲﾃﾞﾝﾃｨﾃｨｰをﾘｾｯﾄされ何もなくなった。そして全てがなくなった最中、生活をよりよくしようとした人々の向上心が高度成長を支え日本は豊かになった。
日本に無い物が戦争を回避し安全をもたらしている可能性を考える事は出来ないだろうか。人間が生きていく上で本当に必要な物を考えるのならば日本に無い物は本当に必要な物だろうか？
生きていくことに力を注ぐのならば必要のない物ではないか。
この日本を安全に保っている面を抽出し世界にうまく提起することができれば無駄な争いは無くなるかもしれない。日本の背景を研究し日本の国旗である「日の丸」を日本の良い面を表すただのトレードマークとして掲げ世界を取り巻く文化によるジレンマを解消してゆく計画を 「HINOMARIZE(ﾋﾉﾏﾗｲｽﾞ)計画」と名付ける事とする。
Some of KIMURA works have certain restrictions for indoor presentations. Especially in expression of dynamism, outdoor presentation would fit. My objective is to make it like a theme park where the audience can interactively enjoy the dynamism of my whole works.
KIMURA ZOO will be the home of KIMURA's creativity, media outlet of my essential themes and the stage for the premiere appearance of KIMURA works and they should be rented out upon requests.
After a sort of safety practice, this theme park would work as torture and defect test for my works of constant usage and bring their improvements.
KIMURA作品を全て屋内で展示するには制約が出てきてしまう。時にﾀﾞｲﾅﾐｽﾞﾑを表現する場合、屋外での活動に移行しなければならない必要性がある。作品の全てを表現する場合、美術館のみでの活動は無理が生じる為ｲﾝﾀﾗｸﾃｨﾌﾞ性を重視したﾃｰﾏﾊﾟｰｸ化しｵｰﾃﾞｨｴﾝｽがじかに体感できるよう作品を提示する事を目標としたい。
KIMURAの拠点として存在し、そこから私の提案する本質的なﾃｰﾏの発信地なり完成した作品がまずその場所に置かれ展示し必要があればﾚﾝﾀﾙを可能とする。
利点として事前の耐久ﾃｽﾄ、安全対策は必須であるが作品を常時動かすため自ずと耐久ﾃｽﾄの役割を果たし、不具合の発見、改善につながりより強固な構造に発展するであろう。
KIMURA works exist for the metaphor of my proposition of peace, so my hope is to distribute them to as many people as possible. However, it is literally impossible to do it by my own. If multiple-line production be established, it could be spread world-wide. The aim is to interest people to my concern and digest it.
KIMURA作品は私の考える「平和」へのﾒﾀﾌｧｰとして存在しているため出来ることならばたくさんの人々の手の中にあってもらいたい。ｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙを手放すことへ抵抗は無いがｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙを全ての人々へ行き渡らせる事は個人の力では限界がある。そこでﾏﾙﾁﾌﾟﾙﾗｲﾝを確立することが出来れば世界中に大量に流通させる事が可能になる。それらの製品を通じ私の考えるﾃｰﾏへ関心を引くこと、目を向け消化させることを目標としたい。
I would like to express my definition of world peace on the field of education. What is important here is not to instruct them how to think, but share my opinions to youngsters that grew up enough as individuals and are open-minded to various perspectives. My aim here is to help them direct their eyes to what is happening in the world, cherish suspicious viewpoints to the justice and acknowledge what to do to make the world a better place.
Through a volume of discussions of different ideas, the definition of peace of his/her own will be developed and evolved.
私の考える「平和」を一人の意見として教育の現場で発表したい。
ここで重要なことは、ある程度人格が形成され広い視野を持つ若者に提示することである。「教育」という形で押しつけるのではなく考えるきっかけとして、そして現状で世界を取り巻く環境に目を向け本当の正義とは何かを疑う事の出来る感覚を養い、自分が本当に住みやすい世界を考えるきっかけを与える事を狙いとする。
いろいろな意見をﾃﾞｨｽｶｯｼｮﾝしていくうちに双方向に自身の「平和」が進化していくだろう。
